PJ 19

Wow!
Today was a good lesson and reminder for me.
When I was 11 years old I suffered from fainting spells. They were awful. My vision would narrow, my head would feel like it was floating, and before I knew it I would be on the ground.
My parents took me to the doctor and I have tests for diabetes, hypoglycemia, heart trouble, asthma, you name it, they tested me for it. In the end my parents were told that I had an incredibly high amount of estrogen in my system. This level was higher than it should have been even for a teenager in the height of hormonal whatever who was already menstruating. They believed this was the cause of my fainting spells.
They told my parents it was seriously doubtful that I would be able to sustain a pregnancy IF I ever had normal menstrual cycle. This was supported by the fact that I did not get my first period until I ws 17 years old.  (It's funny because I used to fake it in high school so I would fit in!)
I grew up being told over and over that I would never have children.
Now! I have FOUR!
It is true that the sever hormonal imbalance I had caused alot of problems and I miscarried 7 times in various stages of pregnancy, but, I never believed that I wouln't.
As luck would have it I had to have a hysterectomy by the time I was 26 and had to have my ovaries removed at 27. Honestly, there are many days I thank God I had to be rendered incapable of having children, because by now, I am SURE, I would have had a dozen!
The point is.... it doesn't matter what anyone else says. I have a fantastic body that does amazing things for me every single day.
Thank you Body!!
